A cereal-ously good day

"Are you sure we shouldn't leave now?" you asked Alastor finally

So, after that conversation, you were still sitting in the room, hugging each other as if you hadn't seen each other for several years. Alastor apparently went through all of this just like you did, which probably shouldn't surprise you too much, but it was still interesting to watch. Hell, even though you stopped keeping that journal about him, mostly because you thought it was weird now that you were friends, you still treated him like a test subject sometimes. You probably shouldn't have watched so many crime documentaries when you were alive, because now the results of your strange interests were visible. Who knew you'd be dating a serial killer one day, right?

Unfortunately, the fact that you barely ate breakfast began to haunt you as your stomach growled and you preferred to go and eat by yourself rather than let Alastor hear that you were hungry. You had a strange feeling that you were going to be fed, not that you didn't like it, but on this day you felt like it might not have been appropriate. So you chose to cheat fate and mention it yourself.

"Mhm, do you want to go? Is something wrong, honey?" he asked you, lifting his head but not letting go of your embrace

"Um, I'm hungry." You blushed slightly, feeling how inappropriate this sentence was for the situation you were in

"Haven't you eaten anything, my dear? Then we definitely have to go!" he stood up quickly, pulling you with him, and you already regretted saying that "Come, darling, what would you like to eat? I can feel free to do anything you want! Would you like some jambalaya? It's been a really long time since-"

"Cereal." you interrupted him and he froze in mid-step "I would eat cereal."

His head slowly turned towards you as if he was processing what you were saying to him.

"Cereal." he repeated your words "Why would I want to eat this at" he looked at the clock on the wall "half past three p.m!"

"Because it's tasty. Come on, I'll go eat some cereal." now it was you who pulled him with you and you left the room together, heading towards the stairs

"But it has no nutritional value my dear, it's probably not even healthy! I don't know how anyone could classify this as food!" he protested as you tugged on his hand

"Have you ever eaten it?"

"No, and I refuse to try!"

"So you have no right to say anything about it." you rolled your eyes, laughing as you walked down the stairs

"Like I said, it's probably not healthy!"

"It's good that eating people is healthy, Al." you said sarcastically and he huffed after you

"Probably more than that!"

"And what? Have you reconciled?" Angel jumped out from behind the wall as you descended the last step of the stairs

"Better question is are you a fucking couple?" Adam joined in from the other side, so you were now surrounded on both sides

You looked at Alastor who smiled in amusement and you could already tell that he wanted to play with them again. You turned back to the boys in front of you.

"You'll never know~" you sang as you dragged Alastor to the kitchen

"What the fuck? Say yes or no!" Angel and Adam attacked you both and you fought the urge to say no

"Uhh..." you pretended to think

"We aren't" Alastor spoke and paused, and the boys looked at you in horror "able to talk about it right now because Sweet Pie is hungry."
