Piece of Cake

You groaned as you turned over in bed. Your day off is over and today it's time to go to work. At least after Alastor's actions yesterday, you were allowed to go to bed, although you were sure that any longer and he would start singing you a lullaby to sleep. Fortunately, you managed to convince him that you were tired enough to fall asleep on your own, and although you had planned to stay up and browse Sinternet, you actually went to sleep as you said. But now it was morning and you were rested, so you sat up and stretched, surprised that you woke up before the alarm went off. Unfortunately for you, your second walking alarm found you, thanks to his seventh sense of sensing when you woke up.

"Good morning my dear! What a beautiful morning, almost as beautiful as you!" Alastor announced as he entered the room with his arms spread wide and you were caught in them as you stretched. You sighed, seeing that he still hadn't gotten over it

"Al, seriously..." you started, wanting to get out of his grip

"Honey, my dearest, it's such a nice day, perfect for a walk!" he let go of you but sat next to you on the bed with one arm around you

"Yes, I have to walk to work." you muttered "Let me check the time-"

"The day is still young, why rush?" he moved to cover his back to your locker where your phone was lying and you looked at him suspiciously

"Because customers are waiting, Al. Give me the phone." you said, raising an eyebrow

"Mmm, no." he shook his head "Sweet Pi-"

"Phone. Now." you interrupted him, and when he didn't move, you simply stood up, reaching for your smartphone

It was two hours after you were supposed to start work.

Two hours late.

You were two hours late.

"Alastor?" you raised your voice as you looked at him and his ears twitched back "Do you want to explain this somehow?" you got up on your feet, quickly running to the closet and grabbing the first clothes you could find

"Dear, you were so tired-"

"Okay, but I can't neglect work!" You pulled out your dress and waved your hand at him "Get out, I have to change."

"Darling..."

"Al, I swear if you don't leave I will start changing in front of you, and I don't care if you want to see me naked or not at this point." you growled as your hands ran to the bottom of your nightgown, which immediately made him disappear from your room.

You groaned loudly as you took off your clothes, what the hell Alastor?

You ran down the stairs at the speed of light, passing Angel on the way, he shouted something to you but you ignored him, rushing to the door. Husk in the living room looked at you with a raised eyebrow when you almost fell over the last step, but luckily you caught the wall and put on your shoes in the hall.

"Darling..." Alastor appeared behind you and his hands touched your hips again, but you stepped forward, pulling on your left boot.

"Al no, whatever you do, I won't stay." you waved at him, pushing him away

"I do not understand why!" he stood in front of you, covering the door

"Smiles, let her go to work!" Angel shouted from the living room, a spoon in his mouth and something in his hands, but you couldn't see what it was

"Exactly." you agreed "Where is Adam?"

"He went in the morning, just as you start work. He was waiting for you but you weren't leaving so he went alone." The spider added and you groaned louder in embarrassment
