48 - Even After Years, It'll Still Be You.

Jungkook got up to the sound of his phone ringing and the first thing he noticed was the hand that was draped over his stomach. Taehyung was spooning him, making his back feel super warm in contrast to the morning coldness in the air.

The phone was on the bed side table in Taehyung's side so Jungkook tried to get out of the embrace slowly as he didn't want to wake up the elder. But he was unsuccessful as Taehyung groaned a bit and turned towards the table. His hand blindly searched the surface till his fingers met with the vibrating phone and gave it to Jungkook.

Jungkook wordlessly took it from Taehyung's hand while the elder pulled him back into the embrace again. Jungkook gave a soft smile and snuggled back into Taehyung's chest before he answered the call.

"G-good morning, hyung...... yeah, I'm still here.... hmm....." Jungkook turned a little sideways and looked at Taehyung and repeated the question Yoongi asked. "Am I going back now?"

Taehyung moved his hand that was on Jungkook's stomach and drew the pattern of a large 'X' there, which Jungkook understood as a negative reply.

"Uhhh...no, I don't think so.... sure hyung, I'll let you know.... yeah, I understand.... hyung!! That's- you know what, I'm keeping the phone. Bye."

Jungkook cut the phone, face a little red from the embarrassing questions his hyung just asked. Not that Taehyung did, but Jungkook will still not tell his hyung even if Taehyung went too hard on him. He was so glad he was not facing Taehyung, even though the elder still had his eyes closed.

"B-baby?"

Taehyung's morning bed voice was even deeper than usual and with great difficulty, Jungkook managed not to moan at that voice alone.

"Y-yeah?"

"What did Yoongi say?"

"N-nothing."

Taehyung lightly chuckled on Jungkook's shoulder and the younger felt a shiver go down his spine. "Koo, I can practically feel the heat of your face burning from here."

"S-shut up!!"

Again the elder chuckled against Jungkook's shoulder and his body vibrated along with that.

"Okay. Whatever you want. "

They stayed like that for about 10 more minutes and Jungkook gently played with a crease on the bed sheet. He wasn't thinking anything at all, just enjoying the warmth and calmness provided by the other's embrace. Jungkook could be a lucky man if he got to wake up to this everyday.

"So, are you free today?" Taehyung was the one who broke the silence and pulled Jungkook out from the dreamland he was in.

"Yeah, I guess so. Why?"

"Would you mind coming with me somewhere?"

Jungkook turned his body abruptly to look at the elder and Taehyung opened his eyes in response.

"Are you asking me out on a date?"

"Uhhh.... no?" Taehyung answered tentatively. "Do you want to go on a date?"

"No! Oh god, no.. I hate going on dates."

Taehyung raised his eyebrows at that. He himself was not much fan of stuff like that because mostly, he didn't have time or the opportunity. But Jungkook sounded like he really hates the idea.

"Why do you hate it?"

"Because that's so cliché!! Like movies, parks, gardens, restaurants ughhh..... I hate stuff like that."

"Well, we do have to get lunch at some point today so I hope it doesn't make you too uncomfortable."

"As long as you don't secretly prepare for a cake or flowers or a band... I think we're good."
