Vikram's POV
"Did you find everything you were look for" I heard mom ask
She totally forgot about shopping. I carried bags inside
"She emptied the store mom" I said to cover her
Mom smiled
"Have dinner, Maria made Alfredo pasta for you" mom said
"Im full aunty, had ice cream... " she said
She must be hungry... didn't even eat ice cream properly
"You don't look good Aishu, did something happen" mom asked
"I have little stomach pain, nothing wrong. I will take tablet and sleep" she said
"Ok, you take rest" mom said
Aishu went to her room
Mom looked at me with... I don't understand her expression
"Have dinner" mom said
"I too had ice cream, I have work...good night mom" I wished and escaped to my room
I tried to divert my mind by working on the case file but all I could see is Aishu's and Rehaan's face.
I don't even understand what is going on in my mind, randomly all the incidents are playing... Nikki and me promising each other about revenge... our love story... My argument with Nikki about dropping revenge plan...Our night... Nikki's blackmail...
All incidents till today's incident...
I came out to my thoughts hearing someone knocking the door. I opened it to find dad.
"I see you are not sleeping... I want to talk to you" dad said
I moved aside and dad came inside
"How are you?" Dad asked. I'm surprised... dad is not a person who ask the formal questions every time he sees
"Fine dad" I managed to say. I couldn't find my voice
"When you seek revenge, you will be on the path of your own destruction" dad said
"Dad" i said not knowing what to say
"I know everything, more than you... your mom too knows" dad said
"About ...what.... Daaaad" I asked in fear
"Aishu, you and Nikki" he said looking at me seriously
I hugged him and cried
I'm not scared that dad and mom knows and they hate me... right now I want a shoulder to cry and share my burden
"It's ok Vicky, everything will be fine. We don't hate you but very disappointed. I know how much you and Aishu are suffering. Don't worry somehow we will make things right" dad consoled me
"With every passing day I realize how big is my sin dad. I don't know if I could ever make things right. I wish to go back in time and rectify... I didn't know our childish promise for revenge would destroy lives" I said
"You both looked ok in the morning after arguing... I thought things are good. Shanthi said, two of you looked really bad after coming from shopping. Did something happened?" Dad asked
"You heard us?" I asked
"Yes, I tried to take Shanthi away but too late, she came to know" dad said sadly
" You knew before? From when?" I asked
"You forgot who I am Vicky! First day you came home, I suspected you both had past. I saw love and concern in both of you for each other.
