I Know more than anyone

Vikranth's POV

Shanthi was crying non stop, I know it comes as shock for her so I let her. I checked the cctv if they left. After twenty minutes they both left... I guess to hospital 

"You knew before" Shanthi asked 

I nodded

"Is that the reason you brought Aishu home?" She asked 

"I didn't know at that time. I wanted to get whoever did this to her punished but she didn't even want to think about them so I left but i wanted to get information from Aishu after few months and get them punished. 

Not even in my dreams I thought my own son and niece did this to her" i said 

"Nikki too?" She asked 

"Calm down Shanthi, I will tell everything" i said 

She nodded

"I suspected that Vicky and Aishu knew each other the day Vicky came home. On Aishu's first day of college, I was almost sure...

When Aishu said she made new friend, I saw jealousy, anger and possessiveness in Vicky. He was also worried about her fainting.

Vishal asked Aishu not to eat Mirapakaya bajji as it's not good for her. Remember Vicky snatched from her and ate though he doesn't like and can't handle that spicy.

I saw love for Aishu.

I saw pain in Aishu's  eyes seeing him suffer. 

Then Aishu said ,'I won't eat, you can stop eating' 

I asked Vishal if she met Aishu before since he was there in AIIMS for three years. 

Aishu tried to cover it but you know how bad she is at lying? The more she tried to cover up, my doubts were cleared

I knew for sure she did project in neurology because she explained she told about her desire to become neurologist.

It was hard to stop myself from laughing when she said, she did project in urology

I enquired and got all the details. Nikki is the mastermind behind this. I spoke to Vishal... he told me everything. Vicky loves her truly. He fell in love with her long before he knew who she was.

"Nikki planned? That means Aishu is...."Shanthi understood 

"She is RamChandra Reddy's one and only niece. She was born after his wife and two year old daughter died. He loves her more than his son, wanted to get them both married" i said 

"Whoever she is, I can't believe my own son could do that..." Shanthi was inconsolable 

"You only know what happened from Aishu's POV, you have no idea what the pain of breaking up did to Vicky. He... tried to commit suicide..." I said in tears remembering what Vishal said 

"No" Shanthi shouted 

"He wouldn't have done in conscious state... he was drunk..." i said 

"Vicky drinks?"

"Vicky was broken, he started drinking. Vishal tried to stop... one day he took heavy dose of sleeping pills... he was in ICU for three days. 

Vishal made him realize what would happen to us if something happened to Vicky. Then he became sober but is broken inside.

When Vicky saw Aishu at our home, he thought she was here for revenge so he was angry with her. Then he realized how much she loves us. 

I don't think Vicky could have stayed away from Aishu longer...

I know things which no one knows Shanthi but I can't reveal... maybe I'm selfish...

Remember Vicky loves Aishu so much, don't hate him... he would never do such things to her" i said 

"But..."

"Please Shanthi, don't ask more. Do you have problem that Aishu is..." 

"I don't care who Aishu is, I love her as my daughter and I  happy that she is my daughter in law. We could never find any girl like her" she said 

Aishu called Shanthi, she was not in a position to talk so I lied she is sleeping. Aishu was worried about Shanthi's health.

Shanthi cried more seeing how much Aishu loves her in spite of what Vicky did to her

"Aishu has big heart, I'm not sure if I would have been like her" Shanthi cried

I hugged her

"Aishu will be here in few minutes. She would come here directly. Are you ready to face her?" I asked 

Shanthi got up and went to washroom to fresh up. Aishu came after sometime. 

"How are you feeling aunty?"

"I'm good Aishu, just tired" 

"It's too hot and humid outside. Don't go to orphanage late morning aunty. Go either in the morning or evenings. Did you have lunch?"

"I'm not hungry, go have lunch" Shanthi said

Aishu gave tender coconut to Shanthi 

"Drink this aunty, you will feel better. I will get lunch after half an hour" 

"Uncle, should I get lunch for you here?" She asked me. 

She loves us so much even after knowing we are Vicky's parents 

"I will have lunch, we both will come in few minutes" Shanthi said 

"I will set the table" Aishu said and left

"We are very lucky to have a daughter in law like Aishu" Shanthi said 

Three of us had lunch. Aishu looked tired, Shanthi asked her to take nap
