Sam's POV
Finally Saturday arrived but that was when I realized that my dad said that I couldn't hang out with Kaden. So I thought about just sneaking out the window. I tried to figure out if I should take the risk or not take it. I chose to take the risk.
To my luck my dad left for work more early. So then I just went out my backdoor. I texted Kaden asking where to meet him at. He then texted back saying to meet him at the lake. I walked there which luckily the lake was pretty close to where I live so it only took me 10 minutes to get there. After 10 minutes of walking I arrived. I didn't see Kaden anywhere which I just assumed he was going to be late. I waited for about 40 minutes then Kaden texted me saying that he left the lake because he instead went to hang out with Sally and that he didn't really care to hang out with me and just wanted to see if I would fall for it.
I was so angry that I walked here just for nothing. I then went back to my house in anger. I couldn't believe I thought that someone would actually want to be friends with me.
