51| Cliff Side House

I woke up to the feel of soft skin and fingers lying in my hair along with the soft breaths of my girlfriend. Aria remained sleeping as I shifted a bit in between her legs to make it more comfortable for the both of us. 

I looked at the screen on the side next to the TV that told me we had another hour or so before landing. 

I got up so Aria could sleep a little more while I got myself water. I decided that since I'm not allowed to work I would watch a random movie to pass the time. I got my laptop out form my bag opened up Netflix and started to browse the movies. 

I found one of Andrew Garfield's Spiderman movies and put it on. I made sure to connect my headphones so Aria would not wake up to the sound of an action movie. 

I went to sit next to where her head was and adjusted her head so it was slightly lying on my thigh and in a more comfortable position. My laptop was next to me while my eyes were on the screen before me and my finger ran through her hair. 

I was able to get a good halfway through the movie before Aria begin to stir in her sleep. 

"Are we there yet?" She questions still half asleep. "No love we still have another thirty minutes to go" I respond pausing the movie. 

"Oh that not too bad" She sits up now and stretches a bit. "Whatcha watching?" She asks nodding at the screen. "Spiderman wanna watch?" I offer one of my airpods for her. She takes it and places it in her ear before lying down across my lap while I pressed play.

We both watched the movie silently before the captain told us that we would need to get into our seats because we were landing. Aria dragged the blanket with her and we both went to sit in our seats. 

I could feel the plane started to descend to the airport. Both me and Aira leaned over to look at the view. From in the sky we were able to see the crystal blue water and island we were about to land on. 

The landing went smoothly and a few minutes later the plane door opened for us. I helped Aria down the steps as we finally stepped foot in Santorini. 

Aria and I held hands as we felt the crisp air enter our lungs. "I'm so excited!" Aria exclaims. "Same mon ange" I say smiling at her excitement. 

We have to wait a little bit in the lounge because they had to unload the bag and bring them up. Eventually we got out bags and headed down to the rental car place to get our car. It only takes a little while to get our car because be had booked it before. 

We were able to get our hands on a Ferrari SF90 Stradale. I help Aria sit in the car before loading the bags into the trunk. Aria sets up the GPS on her phone and starts navigating for me as we make our way through the beautiful streets of Santorini. 

Aria's eyes at pinned outside as we pass through the slate white building and the white sand beaches. "Charles look look at that!" She says pointing to a stand outside. "I know my love" I say squeezing her hand in acknowledgment. 

"Look at those houses up there" She points out. I look up "Baby I think that's our house right there" I say to her. She gasps in excitement as we make our way up the hills. I park out in front of the cliff side house. It was perfect and secluded but still had the best view of the city and sea from up here. 

The house required a code to enter which both me and Aria had so Aria went ahead and opened the house and went to explore. I got out both of our bags and right then Aria came back out to help with the bags. "Sorry I left you with these" She says as she grabs her and drags it inside along with mine.
