jj had fully convinced pope into sinking toppers boat and after my many pleads it wasn't enough "i'm not going with y'all" i protest as the boys get ready to hop on to tops boat
"that's fine you can stay here bud lookout princess" he smiles but there's something different in his tone of voice and he find so much pleasure in doing the most illegal thing ever like i understand that i'm badly hurt but this is crossing a line
so as the boys sink his boat i sit on our boat trying to recall if anyone would be home rn because i need to get home to clean myself up but i can't recall if anyone would be home i look like shit and feel like shit
long after they came running back on all smiley and giddy we were off back to heywards "i need to head home" i call out to the boys as i grab all my stuff to start my walk home "let me walk you" jj calls out running up to me
"no it's fine if lucas or my mom is home they will go crazy thinking you beat the shit out of me" i explain "well i think i should tell him what his little friend did" jj says i frantically shake my head no
"that's a bad idea" i say we've almost arrived to my house at this point "you should go back now" i say anxiously seeing lucas's car parked in the drive way
jj sprints to my front door and i run after him clutching my stomach in pain obviously jj is much faster he gets to the door before me and starts frantically banging on it "jj maybanks" i shout finally reaching the door
but it was too late "jj?" lucas opens the door rather confused and harsh then my brother looks at me and i know he's noticed my black eye he looks at me and jj "wtf did you do to my sister pouge" he spits out
"no no no it's not what you think actually" jj starts but i grab his hand and push past lucas into the house slamming the door shut "we are not having this debate outside we're everyone can see it" i shout
"he hurt you brook" lucas starts "no he didn't" i huff "then tell me brook who did this to you" my brother genuinely looks concerned "rafe" jj says breaking the silence
my brothers once concern turning to extreme rage "WHAT" he yells "jj there was many different ways to approach that" i say freaking out "i'm sorry but i knew you wouldn't say it" he shrugs
"what did he just say brooklyn" my brother says looking me dead in the eyes i start to tremble his eyes remind me of moms so badly i could collapse "that's not even the worse part" jj speaks faster than my brain comprehends
before i know it jj's pulling my shirt up to show lucas my stomach "holy fucking shit brook" my brother says stunned "jj why" i look at him broken "he has to know brookie" jj says with helplessly sad eyes "brooklyn why did this happen how did this happen" lucas gains our attention back
"i was helping pope with delivery's and rafe saw we had beers and wouldn't leave us alone until he got one" i took a breathe holding the tears " he started beating the shit outta pope and i lost it and tried to save pope except it didn't work" i cried wiping my tears "he told me if you wanna act like a pouge i'll treat you like one" i let the tears fall allowing jj to pull me into him
"i'm gonna kill him" lucas says grabbing his keys and storming out of the house the sound of the slammed door and my cries being the only sound heard throughout the house
SAVVY SPEAKS; i was actually really excited for this chapter i know it's a little short but i didn't wanna add anything to it but this scene because i truly wanted to show you guys that lucas isn't a bad guy and maybe convince you guys of some stuff that's coming in the future i hope you enjoy this chapter
