the night slipped away so fast i ended up sleeping at the chatue with jj and the next morning we all loaded up in the hms pogue and sailed off so the group could bring me back to my house since my mother insisted i help clean the beach with the camerons
john b drove with pope standing close behind him kiara sat on the side with me across from her and jj sitting at the front
jj whisles causing me to give him a confused look as he looks at the group "you guys see that" he says looking back out at the boat that coming by us "thats the malibu 24-MXZ the worlds finest wakesetter number one in luxury quality and performance 200k easy" jj finishes as i let out a harsh breath knowing whos boat it is and whos on it "we picked the wrong parents" pope comments "sad to say we didnt get to pick" i look at pope adding to his comment
"i hate to break it to you guys but thats topper and his girlfriend" kiara tells the group "yeah little miss perfect barbie" i rolled my eyes as i spoke in an annoyed tone we all watch as the couples boat passes bye
sarah taking her sun glasses off glaring at me and kie "you dont have to act like you dont see us bitch" i spat out "okay chill brookie" jj says pulling me into him
i quickly run across the beach to everyone else that is cleaning up the beach "but its a totally different mindset on the cut thats why brooklyn doesnt hang with us anymore" i hear topper say and i scoff walking away from the group to start picking up trash when i noticed kelce , topper and sarah start drinking probably something that could intoxicate them and the moment i saw whezzie drink i was done i threw my trash bag and left i couldnt be there i didnt want to in the first place so i left
walking into my house and slamming the door was something i did alot but i was so used to being alone in this house "wow brookie whats got you in such a bad mood" my brother says coming from the kitchen scaring the absolute shit out of my "omg thats not funny you just scared the shit out of me i thought i was home alone" i said catching my breath entering the kitchen
"nope" he says following me "hey arent you supposed to be at the beach clean up thing" he asked "i was there but then sarah and her crew started drinking so i left" i said sitting on the island my brother coming up to sit next to me "still dont like people drinking do you" he asked "lucas how could i like it" i spoke anger raising as i turned and faced my brother " our entire life got ruined by our parents drinking both of them you might not be as affected as i was but dude you cant sit here and tell me you enjoy it" i snapped
i watched my brothers expresssion turn angry "wait a minute i wasnt affected as bad???" he questioned "well not like that" i tried but was interupted " just because i was sent away means nothing brooklyn you think that just because i got a way out that everything was fine i still lost dad too i lost you and i lost mom and i know you were hit and dads death might have been harder but drinking has affected both of us and i never want to here you tell me that it didnt affect me because it did" lucas said anger through the roof as he jumped off the island walking straight out the house leaving me in the silent house
the only thing that could be heard were my slight sniffes and the echo of the door that had been slammed
i pause the vampire diares when i hear someone knocking at the front door and when i open i find the pogues all on my front porch i pull them in losing the door quickly behind them "omg what are you guys doing here" i say shocked they actually showed up at my house thats never happened ever before "well you were upset the last time we didnt bring you on our last adventure and well we gotta go somewhere so we figured to come get you" john b said as i smiled "okay give me 5 minutes and i stg jj dont eat anything out of my fridge" i say before running up the stairs jj pouting
"youve been here before havent you" i hear kie ask jj as i smile running up the stairs to go change and get ready for the next adventure.
SAVVY SPEAKS: this is a short chapter kind of a filler chapter but i like this one you get to see moer of the kind of relationship lucas and brooklyn have as well as you get to tap into the family past alot now that hes around so i really hope you enjoyed im gonna try to keep up this whole uploading for a book everyday but i dont know how long i can do that for
