-'{ chapter fifteen}'-

John b drove the Twinkie to the red field lighthouse where he believes his dad is trying to send him a message if I'm being honest I don't see why the lighthouse would be the place but whatever floats John b's boat I guess

John b parked the Twinkie as we all climbed out looking at the lighthouse "right here's what's gonna happen you and brook are gonna post up and look out for bogeys okay?" John b says to JJ while also looking at me "sounds good to me" I say walking towards the Twinkie but of course that doesn't satisfy JJ "wait why us" he says causing me to roll me eyes from the spot on the floor of the Twinkie

"Because you not coming" pope says nonchalant as I hold back a laugh I could've guessed that one but I swear the blonde is a toddler "why" he says still not understanding "look JJ their are independent and dependent variables and you're a independent variable we don't know what you'll do" pope try's to explain but JJ yells at pope to shut up in the middle cause the three boys to all get in each other's faces

"Just listen to me for a second" John b yells gaining the other boys attention "JJ your staying brook your staying to watch JJ and pope you stand watch out with both of them okay if we get split up we meet back at JJ's house" John b finishes "great" kiara says I show a thumbs up

With that kiara and John b walk off to the lighthouse leaving me with the two boys "I'm gonna work on my merit scholarship essay" pope says getting into the passenger seat of the Twinkie "yay go pope" I try to cheer him on but he gives me a look "and I'm trying to keep felonies to a minimum" pope continues soon after a few moments an annoyed looking JJ gets in the back of the car sitting in front of me "alright you can shut up now pope" JJ says and I slap him "be nice" I say

JJ wraps his arms around my waist now that we're both sitting on the actual car seat instead of the floor and he leans his head on my chest/stomach as I play with his hair "are you really gonna go home" he whispers "I have to J" I whispered back looking out the Twinkie at the lighthouse and the sky while feeling his breathing slowly match mine and my hands playing with his hair "be careful please princess" he whispers once again "I will" I whisper back looking down at him

Cop sirens caused all three of us to jump we were throwing around a rock outside the Twinkie when hearing the sirens causing us to run back to the Twinkie JJ driving pope in the passenger and me in the back

"Do we wait for them" JJ ask "JJ if we all get caught we won't be any help to John b or kiara and my mom might actually kill me" I said as he nods and starts speeding off driving all the way to JJ's house

" do we really need to wait here" I asked as we've been parked at JJ's for a little bit and the fear of his dad coming out is overwhelming JJ "I mean y'all can drop me off at my place then do what you want my pops probably wants me home by now" pope says "yeah alright" JJ says as he starts the car driving to popes house

"Brooklyn Caldwell can I take you on a date" JJ says driving away from Popes house "yeah that would be nice" I said smiling "ooh can we go to the beach" I suggested "anything for you princess" he responds driving us to the beach

We got there getting out to walk along the beach JJ holding my hand "remember the night at the boneyard" JJ said it "yeah we were both way to drunk for our own good" I laughed "I meant everything I said that night" JJ said stopping us "what" I looked at him with confused eyes "Brooklyn Caldwell will you be my princess for real" he asked I was speak less for a moment "JJ are you asking" I was cut off "you to be my girlfriend yes" JJ continued I felt like I was going to cry I've dreamed of this day like my entire life "yes a million times yes" I said as a tear fell JJ was quick to wipe it away

He smiled at me and I jumped into his arms as he swung me around looking into each other's arms like we were in a movie it all happened in like slow motion and then we kissed but something switched when he finally put me down "what about everyone else what about the rule JJ no pogue on pogue making" I was freaking my out "hey hey hey chill out it's gonna be okay we will just hide it for now and tell them when the time is right" JJ says so calmly me nodding in agreement

He slings his arm around me as we continue our walk "i don't think John b will like the idea of you have the keys and the Twinkie" I said laughing "who said he's got to know" he says laugh right back "okay well I love you deeply but the sun is setting and I need to get home JJ" I said looking at him he nods and we start heading to the car

A few hours have passed since JJ dropped me off and I was overly happy to now officially be his girlfriend it was very dark outside at this point and my mother was not home still but there was two possible reasons for that one she's out at a club or bar somewhere or she's on the main land waiting for Lucas either way that meant I had the house all to myself until the morning

So like any teenager I took advantage of that (not like that) I started blaring music through one of my speakers as I took a nice hot shower which made all my bruises feel nice and looking at them in the mirror made me see they are healing nicely

Once I was done with my nice hot shower I changed into one of JJ's hoodies that he has left here in the past he has a tendency to climb up the tree and knock on my window to spend the night when things get bad with his dad and I'm not at John bs I also put some black Nike booty shorts on

Dancing around my room fake singing to the song that was playing as was trying to brush my hair until I heard a noise it scared me for a sec before I heard it again from my window I look and see the one and only JJ Maybank at my window so I turned my music off and opened the window

"Mr Maybanks your in a tree" I said with a smile "that I am ms Caldwell" he said with the same smile "it's like 11:30 did something happen" I said helping him climb in "no no John b made us go to the cemetery apperently redfeild wasn't a place it was a person" JJ continued sitting on my bed as I sat at my vanity to finish brushing my hair "you guys went on an adventure without me" I said kinda sad "hey it was all John b I figured you wouldn't be able to bc of your mom and Lucas" JJ says putting his hands up in defeat as I started to yawn

"You getting tired there princess" he asked as I nodded turning the lights off climbing in bed next to JJ Maybanks my boyfriend "you can't sleep here JJ" I whispered as I put my head on his chest "why not" he whispered back playing with my hair "bc Lucas will be here tomorrow morning and if my mom finds out I had a pouge in her house she hunt you down she's sober and some how that's scarier than her drunk or high" I continued "hey hey don't worry about it just close your eyes and go to sleep" he whispered kissing the top of my head

And I did just that closed my eyes cuddled up next to my boyfriend in my bed at midnight waiting for the day that could make or break my life

SAVVY SPEAKS; I've been trying to finish this chapter all day but I was procrastinating ugh I'm so sorry I will update soon I promise as soon as I'm home from summer vacation and school starts up again I will be on a schedule and will update more often but for now enjoy this chapter our livers are finally together
