Boneyard trouble
—'{ chapter six }'—

you have your head rested on jj's chest as your still swaying back and forth till it was dark we were dancing and have fun filling the air with each others laughter till you hear screaming causing you to jump slightly "help someone" we hear someone in the crowd scream jj grabs my hand and pulls me through the crowd

thats when we see it topper and john b fighting
"what is she doing here" i say looking up at jj squezzing his hand i tad bit tighter as everyone yells at john b and topper "topper topper stop" sarach screams as topper starts to drown john b in the water "jj hes gonna drown him" i say looking up at jj with tears form in my eyes as jj starts getting more and more fidgety "hes drowning him"pope says

next thing you know i felt jj hand let go of me i turn to look for him as i watch him with the gun run over to topper putting the gun to the back of toppers head i grab on to kies arm and just close my eyes shut tightly

topper freezes as jj clicks the saftey off
"yea you know what that is your move man" jj says from behind him

everyone starts running home leaving me , kie, pope , sarah , topper, jj and john b

"jj stop" sarah starts screaming again i open my eyes to see her moving towards them "jj put the gun down" she screams again "what did you say princess" he replies still holding the gun to toppers head i frown at the princess comment but brush it off quickley "were good were good" topper starts yelling trying to get up me and kiara have moved slightly close near sarah and the boys"brook would you check your phyco friend please" she says montioning towards me "how bout you check your crazy ass boyfriend" kie says defending me

jj gets up holding the gun in the air "dont do it jj DONT DO IT"i scream "okay everyone listen up get the hell off our side of the island" jj yells before firing 2 warning shots in the sky makes me jump and hold on the kie like i was going to die "are you crazy you idiot" pope and kie start yelling at jj "im saving his life okay?" jj defends back

kie starts hugging me tightly pulling me away from the boys yelling at each other rubbing my back "hey brook its gonna be ok its gonna be ok open your eyes" she says in a calming but worried tone still rubbing my back i open my eyes "please tell me it was just a dream" i say shaking "i wish i could"kie says pulling me into another hug "hey i think ima go home tonight let the boys figure out there shit see you tomorrow" i say slighly shaky "you wanna ride"kie offers "no thanks" i say before i turn and start walking home

i walked into my house only to be met with my worse nightmare "where the hell have you been" my mother calls out slurring her words obviously drunk "you made me look like a fool not knowing were my kid was" she continues coming closer to me causing me to back up into the wall i can smell the alcohal and weed between her and jj that was the only thing i ever smelled but with her it never felt safe  "god damnit say something" she yells before throwing her beer bottle at the ground before my face begins to burn she slapped me i raise my hand to feel my face but am stopped when she roughly grabs my wrists and holds them down causing my wrist the turn black and blue "m-mom your h-hurting me" i whimper "i dont care maybe next time dont go missing for 3 days" she spits in my face before leaving out the door to go party with her friends i slide down the wall crying before bringing my knees into my chest

i felt weak.

powerless.

this house never felt like home

i finally gained enough strength to go up the stairs to my room and fall on my bed before falling asleep

i push pope out of the way so he stops yelling in my face as i go over to john b to make sure hes alright "man get up you good" i question before helping him up and over near pope and the fire are "im fine" john b answers shoving me off
i rolled my eyes as kie comes running back over and i look around noticing brook isnt around "wheres brook" i ask "she went home" kie replys a little cocky "what why" i ask "oh idk jj maybe cause you scared the living shit outta her" she says my face dropping "i saw you two dancing and i saw yall kiss" she continues "dude no pogue on pogue macking" pope yells slapping jj before jj slaps back "she loves you with every bone in her body and then you went for the gun i saw her bug you to do something but when you pulled out that gun jj i say a different side of brooklyn i never EVER wanna see again" kie interupts "look im sorry i ddint know what else to do topper was gonna drown him"i plead "ill go to her house and fix this dont worry"i say grabbing my stuff before im held back by a hand "she doesnt want to see anyone until and i quote the boys get there shit together she said shed be back tomorrow just leave it jj" kie says before walking away with john b and pope

i cant believe i fucked up i adore this girl might aswell call it love and now i find out i scared the living shit out of her to the point she doesnt want to see me i cant lose her but i respect that she wants and needs space

its too late to go home i head to john b' s and stay the night
