You didn't remember when you fell asleep, but you certainly remembered when you woke up.

"Hey! Wake up!", a voice said.

You didn't even think about who it was, all you knew was that it wasn't Hoseok and that you were supposed to be alone in your room.

So when you heard the person come closer, you jumped up and kicked the first thing you got your foot on.

Turns out it was Jungkook's shin. He gasped in pain.

"What the hell is wrong with you?"

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why the fuck are you in my room?"

He took a moment to recover from the pain, scrunching his nose and pressing on the spot. "I tried knocking. Several times, as a matter of fact! For about fifteen minutes, but you wouldn't answer."

"And you thought it would be a good idea to just come into my room? How did you even get here anyway?"

"I told the staff I lost my key while going out to get some fresh air."

"Dude, that's fucking creepy", you said, still not getting over the fact he had the nerve to just stroll in here whenever he wanted.

He rolled his eyes. "Get ready, our boat leaves at 11."

"Wait, we were supposed to leave at nine."

At least Hoseok and you were supposed to before the whole marriage plot twist happened.

"Yes, we were. But thanks to you, we missed it." He took a glance at his watch. "I'll meet you downstairs in ten. Jung Hoseok was nice enough to bring me your bag." He gestured to the corner of your bed, where your small backpack was lying.

You wanted to tell him he should stop being a creep by entering people's rooms without their permission, but he was already gone.

You shook your head about his behavior. Then you put your normal clothes on and put your vest along with the shirt and black pants in your backpack.

You found Jungkook waiting on a bench. He was on his phone and seemed to be texting someone.

As soon as he noticed you were there, he stood up and walked towards the exit. You followed him.

The ride on the boat was quiet most of the time. You were sitting on the deck and enjoyed the view, while Jungkook was still busy with texting. Some staff asked if you'd like something to drink, but you denied it.

You were almost about to doze off when Jungkook answered a phone call.

"What happened?", he asked the person on the other end.

Sadly, you couldn't hear what they were saying.

Jungkook glanced at you.

"How much have they found out already?" He leaned back in his seat, listening to the other person. "No, leave it for now. I'll take care of it."

He hung up.

"A reporter took a photo of you. People are wondering why you were working at the bar."

You were almost sure it was the picture of you on the staircase.

"How do you want to take care of it?"

"Easy. We'll spend more time together and I'm going to hint that it was a fun little game of ours to infiltrate the guests and see what they think of the marriage firsthand."

That was oddly... smart.

"By the way, I'll need your number to contact you."

Your phone was still dead, but you memorized the number a while ago.

You managed to peak that he saved your contact as 'Park Y/N'. Not even with a heart at the end or anything. And he wanted to make this credible?

About half an hour later, there was land in sight.

After your arrival, you took your backpack and were about to head to the train station when Jungkook said, "Where do you think you're going?"

"Home?"

He took a glance around to make sure no one was around listening to you. Then he came over to you.

"Didn't I mention we should be spending more time together?", he whispered.

He was standing so close, you could almost smell his perfume again. You also noticed that he wore earrings today. You didn't remember him to have worn them yesterday at the wedding. You didn't even know his ears were pierced.

"Okay then", you said. You were about to get annoyed when you remember a detail that was going to keep you very motivated for the next few days: you were still getting paid. A big amount, also. Jungkook was lucky he was divorcing you next week or else he would go bankrupt soon.

Not really, but you guessed that paying an unknown person full salary just for spending time with you would be annoying for everyone.

"But I still need to pick my stuff up."

He looked annoyed. Again.

"Do you really have to? This is important."

"I need my laptop. And I need to write my resignation letter."

"Fine. But I'll drive you there. I don't want any reporters to spread rumors about me leaving you alone just after the wedding."

You were about to argue, but he was kind of right.

So you followed him to his car and contemplated whether you should tell Jungkook he was worrying too much about his appearance and that he should calm down, but you decided it was none of your business.

You might be his wife, but it wasn't like he would listen to you anyway.

After packing a bag with most of your necessities at your apartment, Jungkook drove you to your new 'home' for the next week: his apartment.

He opened the door and you tried not to stare too much, but it was hard considering how expensive everything looked.

The entry hall led to a living room that also contained a kitchen, though you could bet he couldn't even cook.

He didn't give you much time to look around and gestured you to follow him upstairs. For a split of a second, you were dreading that there was going to be only one door and that it was Jungkook's room that you had to sleep in, but as soon as you went around the corner, you were relieved to see a second door. He opened the first one.

"If you need anything, let me know", he said. He left the room without closing the door.
