-That's all I heard through the speakers from the bathroom while I laid in the bed in the dark hurting.Davine walked outta the bathroom and turned the lights on making me close my eyes to act sleep,he sat down at the end of the bed and started putting his shoes on,I felt him looking at me as he started rubbing my legs as I opened my eyes and looked at him tryna hold back my tears cause he knew what he was doing.

"U hit me wit the belt buckle.I said looking up and wiping my tears.

"Right here.He said making me move a little as he touched it.

"I'm sorry mamas.He said still rubbing it.

"It's ok can u just stop.I said closing my eyes as he still rubbed it.

"I'm finna leave to go to a family reunion and I'm taking king.He said as I shook my head.

"I gotta take Matti to Kentrell house.I said looking at him.

"Tell that Nigga come get her like he always do.He said looking at me as I looked at him stupid.

"Well can I get my phone.I said as he tossed it to me.

-I called Kentrell and he answered on the first ring.

"Kentrell can u come pick up matti.I said looking at Davine.

"Yeah I'm doing sum right now gimme like 30 minutes.He said before hanging up.

-I turned my phone off and then gave it back to him.He put it in his pocket and walkout heading to King room.I managed to get outta the bed and limp to matti room,she was up watching tv as I shook my head.

"U wanna go to yo daddy house.I said sitting on her bed.

"Yeah.She said not taking her eyes off her tv.

-I got up and went to her closet and I pulled her out a outfit and sum shoes and panties.

"Come on.I said as she getting outta her bed.

-We went to her and king bathroom and I started the bath water as she got undressed.

-Me and Matti sat in my bed watching Secret Life Of Pets2 on Netflix as I heard the door unlock and open.

"Damn Emma were the food.He said coming upstairs and walking into my room.

"I ain't cook today.I said looking at him.

"U gotta drive me home I got a Uber here.He said picking up matti.

"Ok.I said getting up while he eyed me as I walked into the bathroom.

-I put on a hoodie and sum tights wit my Ugg slides.

"Let's go.I said looking at him as he just sat there looking at me.

-I could tell he was deeply in his thoughts but then he hurried up and looked away.We walked outta my room as I grabbed the Benz keys.We walked outta the front door and I locked it behind us,I unlocked the doors and we got in the car.Kentrell looked at me again and then looked at matti who was sleep in his arms.

"What Kentrell Whats wrong.I said reversing outta the drive way.

"Who hit u wit a fucking belt on yo face.He said making me forget that was right there.

"And why u sound different?He said looking at me

"Don't tell me that nigga beating u while my daughter in the house.

"Yes Kentrell and I tried to leave him and my throat hurts so i think that's why I said looking at him and back at the road.

"But what happened when U tried to leave him.He said looking at me and then matti.

"He found me Kentrell at my mama and dad new house nobody knew where they stayed but me.I said not taking my eyes off the road as I sped up.

"Come move back in wit me.He said making me slow down and look at him.

-I looked back at the road not saying anything else about the situation.

"I know this ain't his first time beating u.He said making me shake my head.
