I cried that evening, trapped in the thing that was slowly sucking the life out of me, making me sacrifice my air intake for nothing.
I collapsed on the sofa in the living room, the fire's flames dancing away. Sobs and tears flowed freely from somewhere deep inside of me. I was so tired. Theodore stepped behind me, his fingers prickling my back, making me shiver.
"You're just tired darling," He stated.
I sobbed.
"Relax, my love," he whispered, "I'm going to take care of you." He said, crouching right beside me. "Shhh." He hushed me like a child, pulling me in his lap. I felt like a baby; helpless.
"It's so tight..." I cried, trying to get the message across, but yet another part of me didn't want him to hear. He did.
"I know, flower. I know."
He rocked me back and forth.
Eventually, he carried me to my bedroom.
