"Hyunjin, what about you?"
"Hm?" He raises his head, bringing his attention to his group of friends. They sigh, complaining about how spacey he's been lately. He softly chuckles, nudging for Jeongin to repeat his question.
"Have you had your first kiss yet?"
"Have you?"
"Don't answer my question with another question!"
Hyunjin smirks. "Well?"
"Of course I have."
"Y-You have?" Chan stammers, the older members' eyes widen. Hyunjin nervously laughs and nods.
They sit back down in their seats, gaping at him before coming back to reality. Everyone starts to brag about how and when they got their kiss. That is until they stop their conversation and turn to the fifth youngest.
"Wait, we were talking about Hyunjin and his first kiss." Changbin frowns, making all heads to turn to him.
"Why are you all so interested anyways? Why's it such a big deal if I had it or not?"
"Why are you asking so many questions?" Felix questions.
"Yeah, why're you dodging it?" Seungmin pouts.
"Very suspicious indeed." Minho nods.
Hyunjin sighs and crosses his arms. They stare at him for a brief moment before turning to each other to figure out why he's like this. He watches them in amusement, quietly laughing to himself.
"Can't you just tell us?" Jisung pouts.
"We're your best friends, come on!" Felix whines.
"You know you want to tell us." Chan smirks, poking him in the arm.
"Do it." Minho said and pokes him on the other side. Hyunjin lets out a huff and pushes their hands away in a calm manner.
"Fine, I'll tell you." He mumbles, the members instantly sitting upright and smiling widely. He glances up at them, shaking his head and grinning at their ridiculous faces. He clears his throat and pulls his sleeves down to cover his hands, a faint blush running across his cheeks.
"I haven't had my first kiss yet and I don't think it'll be happen anytime soon."
"Ha, you never got your first kiss."
"Shut up. You haven't either, Jisung."
"H-Hey!"
The members stare blankly at him before smirks take over their lips. With mischief in their eyes, they start to tease the boy for not having it yet. Hyunjin puffs out his cheeks, growing embarrassed.
"Now, now. Let's stop teasing him." Changbin silences them and slings an arm around his shoulder. He turns to the younger boy and pinches his cheek. He pushes his arm off and huffs.
"I-I haven't had one yet because I was saving it for Y/N."
Everyone gasps, their jaw dropping. Hyunjin's cheeks turn bright red and he covers them with his hands.
"Wait a second. What do you mean you're saving it for Y/N? I recall you being too shy to even go near Y/N?" Seungmin brings up, his eyebrows knitting together in confusion.
Panic arises in his chest as he tries to come up with an excuse. He too is caught off guard by what he says.
"Forget what I said just now."
"I don't think so." Jeongin and Felix shake their head, bringing up that one day where he did everything possible to avoid running into Y/N.
He clears his throat and shakes his head, waving it off as it didn't even happen. Everyone continues to pester him about you before he gets fed up.
He grabs his things and runs off in search of you. He doesn't go that far as you live down the road. You're walking out of your house when he comes running up to you. You give him a small smile, about to greet him when he rushes out his words.
"Woah, slow down. I can't understand you."
"I need a favor from you."
"What is it?"
Hyunjin explains everything from the beginning as you nod along. Both of your cheeks turn a deep shade of red as the story progresses, making your hands go up to cover them. Once he's finished explaining, he looks at you with hopeful eyes.
"All you have to do is come over later and do it."
"You owe me big time for this one, Hyunjin."
He softly chuckles and nods. "I know."
He tells you he has to go and you wave goodbye. He reminds you of the plan before turning around and you usher him to hurry home. He laughs and runs off.
You carry on with your day, nervousness building up until it's time for the plan to be put in action. Though, you're so preoccupied by all the thoughts and scenarios playing in your head, you miss the time you're supposed to go over.
The doorbell rings and you drop the broom from out of your hand. You quickly glance at the time, realizing you're late. Your eyes widen and you rush to the door, only to see Hyunjin staring at you with a small pout.
"You forgot."
"I know. I'm so sorry, I just lost track of time and-"
"It's okay, really. Don't worry about it."
"But your members and the teasing?"
"I'll endure it," He chuckles and ruffles your hair. You frown, still feeling bad. Hyunjin gives you a small smile and retracts his hand.
"Can I kiss you anyway?"
"H-Huh? O-Oh, sure!" Your eyebrows knit together in determination and you nod. He gently holds your face in his hands and leans in, kissing you softly. Both of you feel the other smile against your lips, causing your cheeks to turn bright red.
While the two of you shared a sweet first kiss, the members are hiding behind a wall. They watch all of this go down, gasping and whispering amongst themselves.
"Wow, he even knows to do that move, he must be really skilled." Chan mumbles.
"Or because he watches too many romance movies with you, Felix."
"THEY'RE GREAT MOVIES, OKAY? YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS, JISUNG."
"Would the two of you shut up and just focus?" Seungmin scolds them. All of the members turn towards the two of you, seeing you pull away at the same time. Your cheeks turn a brighter shade, giddy smiles on your faces.
"Can I kiss you again?"
Without responding, Hyunjin places his hands on your waist and pulls you into him while your hands fall onto his chest. Your lips press softly against each other, making the butterflies be released in your stomach once more.
"HE IS TOO YOUNG TO KNOW THAT MOVIE MMF-"
"Let them be in love for right now and then you can tease him later, Changbin."
"Aw, it's his first crush. How cute is it to be sharing his first kiss with Y/N as well?"
