"Jabril shutup you ugly" Cassidy said getting up giving him a side hug
"Everyone's here so let's get this party started" jayda Cassidy friend yelled smiling avoiding eye contact with me
"Wassup man I'm jabril this my friend Ashley " he said putting his hand out giving me a dap
"Wasgud" I said simply turning my attention back to Cassidy who was already staring at me
"Where you work at" I asked Cassidy not really caring about everyone else in the room , I was here for her and her only I wasn't here to make friends
"Im a real estate I sell houses and I volunteer at the children's center I'm thinking about getting back into nursing tho, what about you big money" she smirked
"Nowhere I'm I between jobs I got all my money from rapping" I partially lied , she ain't needa know all my business right now
"You know I use to rap in colllege" she said making me smack my lips not believing her "shutup wit that lying" she was prissy and wasn't good at all you gotta be a lil good to rap
"I'm not lying I swear I did I can even show you proof"
"Show me then" I said as she got up off her couch telling me to follow her and went to her room
She walked into her closet and I stood in front of her bed waiting for her to bring out whatever she was finna bring
Walking out of her clothes she brought out a small little plaque, as she was walked she tripped over a shoe almost making her fall before I grabbed her pulling her up
"Ooh junk" she nervously laughed
We were now face to face she looked up at me letting a breath of relief out , I stared Down at her but her lips caught my attention. Her breathing became uneven as soon as she realized what I was looking at
Bringing my head down I was about to kiss her until she pulled away "I-I c-cant" she said as she backed away putting her plaque down
"My fault man my head ain't right , right now " I said walking out of her room
I'm tripping hella hard
"Dave you don't have to leave , you made a mistake it's okay" she rubbed her arm
"Nah I think it's best if I leave I'll catch up with you later, Ight?" Nodding her head she walked me to the front door and we said our goodbyes before I left
As I was walking to my car I pulled my phone out and called my cousin Terrell , this nigga was one of the closest family members I had
"Yo I'm Omw, auntie over there?" I spoke not even giving him a chance to say anything because I knew he hated that
"Yeah see you ima few" he hung up immediately beating me to it
The whole way to his house all I though about was Cassidy and my stupid ass tryna kiss her when I had a whole girlfriend
I was embarrassed by the fact that I did some shit like that but her being her didn't make me feel any type away just because that's the type of person she was
