Elias.

His name meant 'The lord is my God'. If it was one thing he liked about his biological mother was that she named him something nice. He always liked his name. Thought it was unique.

Trinity.

Her name referred to the Holy Trinity. She always liked that. Made her feel special. Of course, she hated the fact that whoever named her wasn't in her life but she always adored her name as well. She liked the way it rolled off of certain people's tongues.

Like Elias's.

"Trinity." He laughed lowly along with her as they sat together on the flight back to California. Miami took an unexpected turn for them. They got to know each other without bickering. The Spartans won 48 - 24 so that really made Trinity happy especially since Elias was behind all the touchdowns mainly. "You corny for that."

"Bro, he was literally so fucking dumb for that. Your dad literally told you to stay your ass there and what he do? Go and touch the butt of the boat and then wonder why he got lost in the middle of the fucking sea." She explained as Nemo sat on pause on the screen in front. "He's a lost cause."

"Aight, but his dad searched the whole ocean for him. First of all, being the father he should've gotten his ass straight. It's his fault Nemo got stuck in that aquarium."

"No. Nemo was just a bad ass kid."

"Marlon was a bad ass dad-"

"Will y'all shut the fuck up over there beefing about a old ass kids movie." Dallas spoke from across the aisle looking at Trinity and Elias who was trying not to laugh.

The rest of the plane was asleep since it was a late night flight back home leaving just the pilots, Trinity and Elias awake.

Dallas pulled his eye mask down over his eyes again leaving the two alone.

Luckily for Trinity nobody was suspicious of her sitting with Elias. The team and staff was scattered all over the place on the plane. It was just the talking and quick glances at each other that gave people the side eye.

Harrison though.

He knew his friend was developing a crush.

"Can't hold you... I'm happy we talked that night in the lobby." Elias confessed making Trinity chuckle. "Friend."

"I see...I guess you not an asshole like Torrance was reassuring me about."

"Nah, I just put this wall up a lot and that makes it hard for people to get to know me. The boys had trouble with it too don't worry."

Trinity hummed and put her attention back on the movie on the screen.

"So we friends now?" Trinity asked him and he turned his head looking at her licking his lips with a slight smile on his face.

"If you wanna be,"

_

"Practice at 9 in the morning on Tuesday. Be on time. I'm talking to you, Elias," The coach spoke loudly to the team as they exited the plane. Elias waved him off as he walked with Harrison laughing.
