"Y'all won't last, so I'm not too worried."

My brother's words haven't left my mind all night. Dean brushed it off. He said Keith was probably just in a bad mood, but it still bothered me.

What if he was right? A part of my mind wondered. I tried not to let him get in my head but he did. Dean and I rarely fight and it's mainly because we both hate conflict and Dean's always exhausted from school and football, so we both prefer to avoid drama.

We are both honest to each other, have the same goals in life, share the same values, and genuinely treat each other well. So I don't know why my brother would say that.

I'm sure he's just in a bad mood, but it doesn't make what he said okay. I brought it up to my mom quickly after he said that for reassurance, and she said something is probably just bothering him. I think she's right so I'm gonna try to put my focus elsewhere.

We stayed at my parents house for about an hour after Keith decided to start being a dick. We were originally going to stay at my house, but I opted out to staying at Dean's house.

My family is great but sometimes they kill my happiness over something exciting, just because they aren't content with whatever is happening in their lives.

Dean and I announced our engagement to his parents and sister that Keith was seeing, though I'm not sure if they're still together. Keith keeps most of his personal life rather private.

Dean's parents were thrilled and his mom said she wanted to help me pick out my wedding dress. I love his mom so much— she's lighthearted and knows how to cheer me up.

After a while of talking with his parents, my social battery began to run out. "Dean?" I tap him awake, once his parents are out of the room for a moment.

"Hmm?" He moves around, his face looking pouty. "Can we go to sleep?" I ask him, not wanting to appear disrespectful to his parents.

"Yeah." He immediately stands up which catches me off guard because he was just asleep. He takes my hand in his and walks us to his room, not before saying goodnight to his parents.

I plop on his bed and groan in exhaustion. "Don't do that." He states as he puts on a pair of sweatpants. "Don't do what?" I look at him confused.

"Don't make that noise, it's gonna turn me on." He blurts out as he turns the lights off. My eyes widen but I quickly grow a smirk.

"Ah, ah, ah. I know what you're thinking." His voice rasps as he climbs in the bed next to me. I turn to my side and admire his shirtless body.

I run my fingers across his toned abdomen, practically drooling about his body. "You like what you see?" He says, making me peel my eyes off his body and bring them up to his pretty brown eyes.

I drag my hand up his body, cupping his face, rubbing my thumb over his cheek. "I'm so lucky to have you in my life." I say as I start feeling emotional.

He brings his hand to mine and gently rubs it. "Now who's acting like a sap?" He smiles brightly. I don't say anything, but instead kiss his lips softly.

I pull away, not content with the kiss, but wanting more. I lean back into him, pushing my lips on his, making him groan as he leans further in the bed.

He pulls me onto him, his hands wandering my body. He slips his tongue in my mouth, fighting for dominance as I push myself onto him.

He brings his hands up to my face, cupping my cheeks, not allowing me to move away from him. Our breaths get heavier, my head begins to throb at how much he's turning me on.
