The Donovan

I picked up my little sister from the bus stop and we teacher home. "How was your day?" I asked her as she fell on the couch tiredly. "It was too hard .. I has to do a drawing today" she whined. I laughed as I knew that she hated drawing. She only likes colouring so she would ask me to draw for her since I am good at drawing.

"Ok go and get your bath and get ready for dinner btw did u finished your homework?"  I asked dher as she arranged her books in the shelf.

"Yep, I finished it since my bestfriend was not there" she said as her face held some fear in it. I frowned as I asked her "what happen to her and why is your face is full of fear?"

"Ummm I will tell u but promise me that you won't get mad at me" "okay I promise you" I said as I pinky promised her. "When I was using the washroom some cleaners said that- "
"Wait, you was EVESDROPPING!?" I hated whoever evesdrop and I can't believe that my own sister was EVESDROPPING

"But sissy I wanted to leave but I decided to stay when I heard the name 'Donovan' " she wispered the last name to me. My eyes widened as I heard the name. I didn't want my sister to get any danger.

"Okay just don't get involved in that and just forget the name and forget this conversation too" "okay, shall we get pizza today?"  She asked me with her best puppy eyes. "Fine" "YAY! I'll go get ready for dinner" "yea me too"

I entered my room to take a bath.....I relaxed as the cold water came in contact with my skin but it vanishes as the name 'Donovan' pop up in my mind

The name 'Donovan' is the last name of the world feared mafia leader. No one dare stop talk about them because they are cruel and wouldn't hesitant to kill a small kid or a pregnant lady. But no one ever saw the gang leader nor knew his name. But a few do and they aren't brave enough to say it out.

Even the police officer are on their side and wouldn't take any action if they killed someone.

I finished my bath and got ready for our dinner.

**Time skip ***

We finished our dinner at the nearest pizza shop and decided to take a walk to home since it's only 5 mins.

We were walking around when we saw our deadliest nightmare on the street..... THE DONOVAN GANG

we fastened our pace like everyone did....Thank God we reached home safely from the Donovan

I was having a weird feeling that someone was watching me...but I shrugged it off thinking it was my little sister

I make sure to lock our door and windows and went back to sleep.... tomorrow......I will he meeting Sam and I think I want to confess to him ...but what if he reject me

Of course he will reject you... He is a rich guy and your just a middle class.... Don't take friendship in a wrong way  my subconscious mocked

Maybe it's right I should just remain this as friends but what if he confesses to me?
