JIGSAW PUZZLE

an original poem by:
SUJINNIIE

A puzzle I call my heart
Beats a few times when we're apart
The pain that I used to despise
Became the part I used to cover lies
Lies that once trapped me and took me into its ties

Each minute on the wall of my clock
And the sound of drowsy lil talks
Oh how I wonder when the clock will strike zero
Oh how I wonder when that time will come
That time where I put a period to every day

There are times where I longed for you
Times where I'm used to being left too
If only you were there for me, friend
But sadly, our times always end
By the strike of lightning, you'll disappear like the sunsets

When I first met you, you looked like a key
The key that can mess every lock in my heart
The key that can break every wrong lock
Because the only right lock you can open
Are the deepest depths of myself

Every step I hear from you
My heart sings and beats for you
My heart beats a thousand more when you say 'hello' too
And there's nothing I can do
But to keep this feeling locked in my puzzled heart
