Chapter Twenty Two

Junie's POV

*the next day*

I wake up in my own room(finally).

I get ready to go to school and walk to school with Yoongi.

The rest of the school day was boring.

Then, I got a text from my mom once I got home.

Finally! I haven't heard from her in forever!

From: Mom

Hey sweetie. I want to visit you and Yoongi! What is your address? I'll visit soon. Love you❤

From: User

XXXX, XXXX street. Can't wait! Love you too!❤

Then I go onto doing my homework for the day.

Then, about two hours after I got my mom's text, I get a call from Aunt Suni.

"Hello?" I answer the call.

"Hey, Junie. Have you perhaps heard from your mother?" She asks.

"Yeah..." I say slowly. "She texted me about two hours ago."

"Two hours ago?" She asks. She's kinda scaring me...

"Yeah. Why?" I ask, heart pounding.

"Well, I tried calling, but she didn't answer. I guess she just left her phone after you texted." She says.

"Oh, okay." I say, relieved.

Aunt Suni's POV

I end the call with Junie and decide to try to call my sister one last time.

I call and she finally answers.

But I didn't get the response I was expecting...

"S***! I didn't mean to answer..." I hear my sister's dreadful husband say.

"Why isn't my sister answering her phone?" I ask, angrily.

"Because... Something may have... Happened. Also, since there's nothing going to stop me, I'm going to go and take Junie back. There's nothing you can do about it 'cause she is my daughter." He says. My anger starts to get even worse now.

"No! You can't do that! What did you do to my sister!?"

Then...

He hangs up.

I fumble back to my contacts, looking for Yoongi's as fast as I can.

"Hello?" He answers.

"Yoongi. Listen carefully. You need to move out of the house. ASAP!"

"What? Why!?" He asks worriedly.

"Your father is going to come and take Junie. Also, he did something to your mother." I say, fast.

"What the f***!?" He yells. "Sorry..."

"It's fine..." I excuse his vulgar language.

"Wait. How does he know our address!?"

"I don't know... Wait. Go to Junie and ask what your mom texted her!"

"Okay?" I hear fast footsteps.

"Junie, what did mom text you earlier?"

"How did you know she text-" she started, but Yoongi cut her off.

"Just answer the question!"

"She asked our address so that she could come visit us..." She says.
