24 - Explain

What does he mean

He can't talk to this person?

I am so confused

As are the others

Colby turns around to face me

And waves for me to come over

"Come on over here, Nate." Colby says

For a second I think

I know

He has blown my cover

Now he's the one to betray me

It's a cycle

I screwed up

But

As I reluctantly walk over to the door

And Colby

I too

Began to relax

Because standing there behind the door

Is the one

The only

Tarron

I almost hit him

I almost scream

I almost cry

But I don't

I let out a sigh of relief 

As I look to Colby

And back to Tarron

'Come inside, you idiot.'  I sign to him

Tarron walks inside the home

Embarrassed 

Colby shuts the door behind him and follows us

We don't walk that far

We are all in the center of the house

Most of the roommates congregated in a circle

In front of us

Colby beside Tarron and I

For the first time in probably my whole life

I am first to talk

"I know this is very confusing, and that there is a lot to explain, and I just want to say, I'm sorry." I sign as I talk so Tarron understand

"Just ask as you please and I'll answer as I can." I let loose 

It's got to be worth it as this point

"I'll start," Elton has his arms crossed

Raising a hand 

Then going back to crossing his arms

I start signing what he says

I'll be doing this for everyone

"Why are both of you here?" Elton asks

"I can explain why I'm here, I'm just not sure why Tarron's here..." I trail off

I turn to my brother and began to sign

No talking this time

I know the others would like me to

They want to know what's going on

But they don't say anything

They must understand

That Tarron and I need a small moment

But since we can't leave

Signing is the next best thing

They understand

I adore this

'Tarron, what are you doing here?' I ask

Tarron sighs for a moment

And then begins

'I had to...' He starts to sign another word

But doesn't

Now he's starting to worry me

Tarron is always honest

It gets him in bigger trouble sometimes

But he's honest

It's the one thing about him that everyone can tell right off the bat

So I know he's going to be honest

But something's holding him back

I don't care

I'm gonna push him there

'Tarron...Why are you here?' I sign once again

Tarron gathers up his courage

And answers

'I had  to warn you.' He answers

And now

Now I'm quiet

I'm good at being quiet
