I was laying in the bed as I watched dd load up his gun.

"This a everyday cycle for you...." I said as I shook my head.

Dd came over to me grabbing my neck kissing me on my lips before looking down at me.

"I gotta do ts mh, youn never know when smb gon try n spin my shi"

I rolled my eyes as I looked up at him.

"Dd promise me one day you gon stop this shi n settle down wit me"

He turned his head trying not to face me n I grabbed his face forcing him to look at me.

"D I'm serious, if sum happen to you ion know what ima do....now promise me"

He pushed me away mugging me.

"What you telling me all this for mh? Youn never be acting like this"

I sighed as I looked at him. "Youn never like to listen"

He rolled his eyes giving in.

I nodded my head as he walked out the door.

"Be safe... I love you"

"I love you too" he said before shutting the door.

Some hours had passed n I was currently wit jayda as we passed the blunt back and forth.

"So girl tell me why when me n ddot was fucking he pulled my braided ponytail off-"

I busted out laughing as Jayda told me the story.

"That's not even the funny part- it's the fact he had the audacity to ask what the ponytail was connected too"

"That's why you got that bonnet on??" I said laughing as I looked up at Jayda head.

"Jayda?" I said lowly.

"You ever think abt what shi would be like if we wasn't doing what we doing now?"

She side eyed me.

"What you mean by "what we doing now" ? She said confused.

"Like ho js sitting here, imagine if we was out doing big shi, like you out here smoking like you ain't gotta work yo 9 to 5 tmr." I said bluntly.

She mugged me.

"You ain't had to put it like that cs you n yo nigga be scamming...but Ig I get what you saying."

"I'm just being honest, I wanna do sum big shit...n I want dd to be there wit me-" I started before my phone rung.

I looked down at my phone confused.

"Who is it? Jayda said trying look in my phone.

"It's ddot.." I said confused asf as I answered the call.

As ddot began speaking my heart dropped as my phone fell out my hands.

Jayda eyes widened as she looked at me.

"Girl what's wrong? Wtf happened-"

I struggled to speak as tears started to run down my face.

"Dd, h-he got shot..."

Jayda mouth dropped before she quickly picked the phone up.

"Come on we gotta go, we gotta meet them at the hospital...they don't know if he gon make it" Jayda said as she tried to help me up.

My body went numb and I felt like I couldn't move as Jayda continued to pull me up.

"Y/n come onnnn, you gotta get up-" Jayda started as she yanked me once more before she noticed something fall out my pocket.

She stared at me in disbelief as she saw a pregnancy test fall out. "Oh shit-"
