"Kaeda! I miss you, come visit LA" Justine spoke off camera occupied with a kitchen knife she held in her hand as she sliced bell peppers for the dinner she was preparing.

"I think you should just move here, I promise you'll love it!" Lori chimed in.

Makaeda sat on FaceTime with her long distance friends. Talking about whatever women their age talk about. With their busy overlapping schedules, they didn't get to sit and talk on the phone much.

She rolled her eyes cause she already knew where this conversation was heading.

"How many times do I have to explain why I'll never live in LA? Atlanta is my home I don't ever wanna leave" She said.

Makaeda was born and raised on the east side of Atlanta. She didn't know anything else, even her moving into the city was hard for her. She loved where she was from and she wasn't ready for change just yet. She got so much love from her city and they did protect her. That's where her nickname came from, cause they didn't play about their Kaeda.

She was currently sitting in the middle of her living room on her large plush creme L-shaped couch.

"We get that but you won't know until you just say fuck it and do it. You can always keep your condo in Atlanta." Justine picked up her phone propping it up so that they were able to see her.

"Exactly. I'm surprised neither of you has a property in Miami the way y'all love to party down there" Lori said.

"Ouuu! I probably should look into that I love it down there" Makaeda teased.

"Wooow! I'm convinced Kae doesn't love us anymore" Lori laughed as her phone fell on the bed.

"Why don't y'all ever want to come visit me? Come and see me for once" She sang into the phone causing both of her friends to laugh.

"We haven't been to Atlanta in a while...so why not?" Justine suggested.

"Looks like y'all coming to Atlantaaa! It's okay the princess gon take care of y'all" She grinned ear to ear into the phone.

"Fine, but please do not have me in those clubs," Lori said as rolled her eyes.

"She's never gonna let go of when y'all went to Opium" Justine shook her head.

The last time Lori came out to visit Atlanta 𝚠𝚊𝚠 back when Makeada was still with her ex boyfriend Amir, and she invited her out to one of his shows.

"Never again"

"Whateveeer! We had so much fun that night, it was a lil ghetto but fun" She said as memories from that night flooded her mind.

"Atlanta make some muthafuckin noise!" The DJ said into the mic as he pressed buttons making sound effects.

"We got Hunxho in the building tonight"  Amir through up a hand gesture towards the crowd as his dreadlocks hung in his face.

"We got Makaeda J. in the building tonight" She waved to the crowd smiling.

They both stood in their section that overlooked the crowd. Cameras were on them as the DJ shouted them out.

Amir had gotten booked for a club performance and of course, Makaeda had to tag along to support her boyfriend.
