Chapter 22

After sometime arjun broke the hug and say.

Arjun:"Chal bacha raat bohut hogaye hain dinner kar lata hain phir medicines bhi lana hain". Arjun said.

Manik made a face at the name of medicines but stop after receiving a stern glare from arjun.

Arjun:"Aisa ganda ganda moun (bad faces) bana ka kuch nahi hoga, ja jake fresh hoga phir dinner ka liya nicha agana".

Manik:"Bhai please na dheko mein ek dum theak hon mujhe medicines ki koi zarorat nahi hain". Manik said making arjun angry.

Arjun(Calmly):"Theak hain agar tu medicines nahi lana chata tho it's ok". Arjun said making manik eyes sparkle with happiness.

But the happiness was short lived.

Arjun:"Tujhe toh medicines se bhi zyada tasty chiz ki zarorat hain". Arjun said making manik confused.

Manik(Confused):"Kis chiz ki bhai?". Manik asked arjun curiously.

Manik eyes widened when he saw arjun picking up the ruler again.

Manik:"Nahi nahi bhai mujhe medicines ki zarorat hain bohut zyada zarorat hain mein abhi fresh hokar ata hon". Manik said and immediately run away making arjun amused.

Arjun just shook his head with a fond smile.

Arjun:"Isse larke ko sirf mar ki bhasha samajh mein ati hain".

Arjun came  downstairs and looked at the servants who is setting up the table.

Arjun:" Uncle apna aalu ki sabzi banaye". Arjun asked as after his rockstar death, arjun made it a point that he would be the one to make aalu ki sabzi.

No one is allowed to make aalu ki sabzi other then arjun in this house

Uncle:"Aryy nahi arjun baba hum ne nahi banaye". Uncle said making arjun confused.

Arjun:"tho kis ne banaye?".

Uncle:"Mannu baba na banaye sabzi". Uncle said making arjun surprised.

Arjun:"Mannu ne? par kyun?".

Uncle:"Wo app unse naraz the, toh apko manane ke liye apki favourite dish banaye".

Arjun nodded his head not understanding how to react.

After few minutes manik came downstairs, frown seeing arjun lost in thoughts.

Manik sit beside arjun and shook him slightly breaking arjun chain of thought's.

Manik:"Kya hua bhai kis soch mein ghum hon". Manik asked and arjun shook his head.

Arjun:"Kuch nahi mannu bas aise hih, tum khana khao mein abhi aya". Before arjun can move an inch manik stop him by sitting on his lap.

Arjun looked at manik with a surprising face and say.

Arjun:"Mannu-". Before arjun can continue manik cut him off.

Manik:"Bhai please na mujhe bohut bhook lag rahi hain app khila dona ahhh". Manik open his mouth.

Arjun smile looking at the innocent bean on his lap, tore the roti piece  dip it on sabzi and forward it to manik.

Manik smile eating from arjun hands repeat the same process and forward it to arjun.

Arjun smile emotionally eating from manik hands.

For people both brother's were feeding eachother, but for them, they both were feeding eachother soul's with love and care.

The love and care which their soul crave for years, the hunger for love and care is finally getting full.

For both of them, they both were not filling their stomach with food but their heart and soul with pure love❤.

Manik and arjun were sitting in the living room, arjun on the couch and manik on his lap.

Arjun:"Mannu ja jake soja kal subha college bhi jana hain na tujhe". Arjun said while caressing his head.

Manik:"Nahi na bhai mujhe neendh nahi arahi hain chalo na kuch khelta(play) hain". Manik said.

Arjun:"Mannu bacha itne raat gaya tujhe games khelna hain". Arjun asked and manik nodded his head excitedly getting up from his lap.

Manik:"Hain bhai please na chalo na kuch khelta hain plwase plwase plwase plwase". Manik said showing his puppy eyes🥺.

Arjun:"Theak hain kya khelna hain tujhe bacha".

Manik:"Hide and seak". Manik said excitedly while clapping his hands making arjun smile.

Arjun:"Jo mera bacha chaha wo hi hoga". Arjun said making manik smile even more.

Manik:"Theak hain toh mein chup(hide) tha hon app mujhe dhondo".

Arjun closed his eyes and started to count backward from 20.

Arjun:"Ready or not here I come". Arjun said while opening his eyes.

Arjun could hear the sound of soft giggles.

Arjun:"Oh no, where has mannu gone?". Arjun meet with another sound of  giggles.

Arjun:"If you are my good boy, clap once".

He (arjun) let out a loud laugh when he hear his clap. He (manik) actually did it. His adorable self was going to do be him in. He followed  the sound of the clap.

Arjun:"If you're happy and you know it then clap your hand". He sang again and manik clap again. He get on one knee and stared at the cupboard on the bottom shelf by the sink.

Arjun:"Are you in there, bacha".

Manik:"No". Manik whispered.

He (arjun) stifled a laugh as he stared at the door. He pulled it open and there he was, his smile blinding and it was so beautiful.

Manik:"Bhai! you found me!".

Arjun:" I did, bacha". He said holding out a hand for him. Manik takes it and arjun pulled him up. Once he was on his feet, he held onto arjun's hand, bouncing on his feet.

Manik:"Again, bhai". Manik request.

Arjun:"But I will be sad if I can't find my mannu". He said and manik pout, moving closer to him.

Manik:"I am here. Not going away". He said, wrapping his arm around arjun.

Arjun:"I know".
