I don't own this GIF. All credit goes to the original creators. I pictured this gal as Sonny's girlfriend, Margot.

I met up with Patrick as he and Sonny had their break from their shift at the lifeguard tower.

"So, how's it going in sheila-world?" Sonny grinned as he pulled out his binoculars and peered through them looking out for girls in bikinis again.

"Could be better," I shrugged.

"Too much drama I take it," Patrick nodded.

Since having to put up with Charlotte, I felt the need for a mental break from her. Even though Ida and Gracie were close friends, I saw how Charlotte became bossier and more demanding since joining our group. Instead of retaliating like Rikki would, I found myself distancing from her. Even Rikki could tell what was up and got that I needed a break. I figured Gracie never treated her friends like Charlotte was treating my friends and me. I wondered if Ida at times took mental breaks from her other friends for a while.

"How are you dealing with the whole issue with Charlotte?" Patrick wondered as Sonny kept himself busy.

"It feels that since she became one of us and found her powers, she thinks she's all-powerful, like some deity or something," I expressed, "And not to mention demanding of the others and me."

"But she's still like all of us. Zo, why don't you come out on a double date with Sonny and me later on at the mall?"

"Sonny found a girl?"

I didn't believe it much. On getting to know Sonny, I saw that he was a bit of a player since seeing him with a different girl now and then. Someday, there was bound to be the one girl he couldn't resist after turning him down.

"I'll see what I can do," I nodded knowing that I let the other girls know that I would meet up at the cafe. All of us were planning Lewis' party and had some great ideas.

"You don't have to be at every meeting with the other girls, Zo," Patrick assured me.

"I know," I nodded, "Sometimes if it's for something huge, they'd wanna tell me in person instead of over on the phone or a text message."

"We'll let you pick the restaurant."

"The food court is always the best."

During some occasional trips to the mall, I always found myself aiming for the food court since it always had the best options.

"I'm with ya on that," Patrick nodded.

"I'll meet you guys back here after your shift," I stated and headed in the direction of the cafe.

Rikki and I arrived at the same time at the cafe. She ran into Zane while at the beach. Rikki explained to me she had turned down a date with him.

After meeting up with Cleo and Emma, Charlotte arrived wanting to talk to all of us. Cleo had the idea to set up Lewis' party on a boat since he was a boat party guy. Rikki found it awesome as did I. It seemed Charlotte didn't like Cleo's idea and suggested something else while boasting that she knew Lewis better. Another reason why I distanced myself from her!

Shortly after Charlotte left, the other girls and I decided on the boat party idea since Lewis would be much happier with it. I recalled Dad having a friend who ran a boat rental company on the marina and figured we'd get in touch and see about renting a boat for a few hours the following day.

I got the number of the boat rental company from Dad and managed to give the guy a call while the other girls kept Charlotte busy telling her that I had a couple of errands to run for my grandparents. Charlotte respected the fact that I often helped out my grandparents since hers were already deceased and always let me off the hook about it. I've picked up some hints that she was a little jealous that I still had Grandma and Grandpa around.
