I just finished Insomniac and I'm in tears, i was suffering thinking the story actually had a sad ending lmao. Thank you Matsuexe for gifting us that amazing book, like, it was really amazing and well written, everything was perfect. As a Levi fangirl that has read a lot of fanfics about him, this is really one of the best out there. Thank you again and love you ❤️

            levi is half blind, disabled from the waist down, covered in stitches, and all his best friends are dead. bro lost everything, the world became a better place yeah, but at what cost? he can't even enjoy it anymore. he saw all his friends and his entire squad get wiped out in front of him. not only is he more mentally fucked up and depressed, he did what he did for the people who arent even in his life anymore. yeah he made kids life more safe and everything, but he wanted his friends safe to. and it only ended with him, connie, jean, reiner, mikasa and armin(not counting gabi and falco). and thats the saddest part.

I actually could not stop BAWLING, it just felt so much sadder than the manga - ESPECIALLY with Levi for some reason. Like in the manga at the end, he at least looks some-what at peace, but in the anime he looks so empty
