MJ Cass

MJ Cass is a nom de plume I came up with so I'd have something other than "deargodwhyamihere" to put on my book covers.

I'm a young writer, so forgive me if my stories come off as a little amateur and cliché - I'm working on it. I'm trying my hand at everything while I can (though "everything" will usually have a degree of romance in it). I'm also a theatre kid, a guitarist, a softball player, a nerd, and a pop culture nut born in the wrong century (so most of my interests are from before my time). 

Speaking of which, here's some stuff I like:

- Pulp Fiction, Evil Dead, Lord of the Rings, Shaun of the Dead
- The Catcher in the Rye, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Song of Ice and Fire, Lockwood & Co.

Currently obsessed with American Horror Story (because Murder House). 

Of course, no bio would be complete without me asking you to pretty please give my work a try! Again, I'm young, so any advice or tips or even just helping my read count go up would be indescribably helpful! I also love to just chat so feel free to PM me anytime about whatever! I'm pretty nice! 

Works: 
- The Prince and the Punk (EDITING) - my first completed novel about a girl, a prince, and the space war between them
- In Limbo (COMPLETE) - a novella about a girl's out-of-body road trip with the Grim Reaper
- Silver and Gold (ON HOLD) - a fantasy novel I may or may not continue, following  the adventures of dragon riders
- And, of course, some short stories...

Lastly, I don't do follow-for-follows. Feel free to follow me if you like my work, but don't do so expecting an automatic follow back (but you'll probably get one if you talk to me for just about any length of time).
