your indifference

I miss the space you chiseled out
A silence you'd break away with echoes of words
I thought it was love, but it fizzled out
I learned from your lust,
From the words that held no weight they'd float away as soon as they left your lips, like dust
I could never catch them
They were meant for someone else,
Someone who never figured you out
