jo woke up in the middle of the night all sweaty and breathing heavily. she had a nightmare. THE nightmare. she has been having the same nightmare almost daily for years now. she hated that she had to relive her past over and over again even when she was supposed to sleep. she just wanted to forget all those horrible things that happened to her and just move on with her life.
then she saw her phone lighting up on her nightstand. she got a new message on instagram. it was 2:47AM. who is still up at this hour tho?
as she checked her messages, she saw who the message was from. christopher sturniolo.
"why on earth is he up so late?" she said quietly, her throat being dry and her voice raspy, since she just woke up.
