" You like my hair" I asked kentrell. "You look good like always" He sighed kissing my cheek
" Let's go over there" I said pointing to two empty beach chairs
We sprinted our way over there before anyone could take it and sat down
" I forgot to tell you about something that recently happened but not recently" I said. "What is it now" He asked as he opened up his food
" So I met my parents and siblings for the first time" I said. " How it go" He asked. "Rough then it start to go smooth" I said
" Then my mom told me that she's been battling cancer" I sighed. " A-And they don't know if she's gonna survive" My voice cracked as I fanned my eyes
" Like I know my mom has done a lot of shit to me but loosing her is a whole another type of pain" I sniffed wiping my eyes
" Don't cry mama" He sighed getting up from his chair pulling me into his chest. " If she dies I don't know what imma do" I said
" You just gotta be there for for her Cassandra. You never know when it's her Last" He said as he rubbed my back
" But I don't want there to be no Last" I cried. "If you keep up with the sad shit it's only gonna make her weak. You gotta stay strong" He said
" I'm trying" I mumbled
